The Miracle Journey Continues

The miracles continue in my life. I continue to be blown away by everything God has done and is doing in my life.

This past Saturday morning, God woke me up at 4am and shared he wanted to do something special in my life. No, I did not hear the audible voice of God, but he did speak to my heart. I was ready for whatever special thing he wanted to do in my life. At least I thought I was ready.

I was already planning on running Saturday morning. I thought I would knock out 5 miles. God had other plans for me that morning. As I approached 5 miles, I felt God encouraging me to keep going. Great I will get 6 miles in today I thought. But God had bigger plans than 6 miles. I just kept running until I had reached 13.1 miles. A half-marathon! Are you kidding me? I had not run that distance in 11 years. I have only been able to run again since December 1, 2019. What a beautiful gift from God. I was filled with so many emotions at that moment. God is so good.

I do not know what storm you are facing at this time. You might be in the biggest fight of your life. I want to encourage you to keep praying. To keep believing your miracle is one prayer away. I had a lot of people praying for me for almost 18 years, before I received my miracle. Never give up! ~OC

Ten Years In the Making

In March 2009, I ran my last 5k. A few weeks later, I was told I only had 24 hours to live. For the next ten years, I would be fighting for my life. On November 3, 2019, I experienced an incredible miracle healing from God. This morning, I completed my first competitive 5k in over 10 years. The Miracle continues. ~OC

Dream Killers

If God has placed a dream on your heart, do not let anyone or anything try to destroy that dream. Dream Killers can be the the following:

Doubt

Criticism

Comparison

Intimidation

Failure/Discouragement

People

These dream killers can happen everyday. Do not allow them to destroy the dreams God has put on your heart. Step out and trust God. ~OC

Who Is Your Neighbor?

A few days ago, I shared a video about Simply Loving Others in 2020. I challenged each of us to love everyone God brings our way this year.

That means we must love those that look different than us. That means we must love those who think differently than us. That means we must love those who worship differently than us. That means we must love those who vote differently than us. That means we must love those who speak a different language than us. That means we must love those who love differently than us. Who Is Your Neighbor? Will you love them? ~OC

Faith

Today’s a new day! Our faith doesn’t keep us from going through a storm, it gives us the strength to make it through the storm. ~OC

God’s Promises

God has promised to look after us…. to bring help. God, who defends us, who is far greater in strength than any storm life throws at us. God, who spoke and whose words caused the universe to be. His words are true and unfailing. If He promises something, He will deliver.~OC

Never Stop Praying

Never stop praying. My miracle took almost 18 years. During my crazy beautiful health journey, God never stopped loving me. He taught me so many lessons during my battle. God also shared many blessings in my life. The road was not easy, but I would never change the path.

If you are walking through a storm, I encourage you to keep praying. Keep believing in your Miracle. ~OC
