Know God’s Truth

Today’s a new day! If I know what God says about me, why would I give up God’s truth about me for the opinion of someone who did not create me, die for me, shower me with grace and call me into a personal eternal relationship? ~OC

Promises

Today’s a new day! Do not allow the noise of your past to drown out the peace of your presence and the promises of your future. ~OC

In The Well

Today’s a new day! What’s buried deep down in the well, will come up in the bucket.

Translation: What is buried deep in our hearts, will eventually come out in our words and actions. So do not sleep on anger, grudges, or judgment against anyone. Do not let it take root. Deal with it in the light.

But don’t let the passion of your emotions lead you to sin! Don’t let anger control you or be fuel for revenge, not for even a day. Ephesians 4:26

Prayer Warriors

Today’s a new day! Find me one person in the Bible who made a real difference, that did not have a strong prayer life. If we want to make a real difference for the Kingdom, we have to be Strong Prayer Warriors. ~OC

Today

Today’s a new day! Slow down today. Share a smile and kind word. Show grace when it would be easier to judge. Show love even when hate is thrown your way. Don’t miss out on a beautiful interruption. Take time and embrace the moments you will experience today. Have a beautiful day! ~OC

Three Promises

Today’s a new day! Here are three promises from our Lord and Savior.

God will always affirm your worth. Matthew 6:26

God will work things out for your good. Romans 8:28

God is faithful even when we’re not. 2 Timothy 2:13

Love Them

Today’s a new day!

When someone looks different than you. Love them.

When someone has a different faith than you. Love them.

When someone speaks a different language. Love them.

When someone comes from a different country.Love them.

When someone has different political beliefs. Love them.

When someone has a different opinion. Love them.

When someone makes mistakes. Love them. ~OC

End Modern-Day Slavery

Today’s a new day! Freedom is something we all want and everyone deserves. No one would prefer not to be free. Yet, there are an estimated 40 million slaves in the world today. This brutal criminal enterprise generates an estimated $150 billion annually. Every minute of every day, people are being sold into slavery — and it is possible to stop this crime against humanity. I know it’s possible to stop slavery and trafficking in our lifetime, but the anti-trafficking movement needs more people to join the fight. Will you join the fight to end human trafficking? Someone’s life is depending on it. ~OC

Walk In Your Miracle

Today’s a new day! On my Facebook memory today, it shared my bride and I were in Seattle on June 14,2019. We were going on a cruise to Alaska in celebration of our 20th Anniversary. What my medical team shared would be our last anniversary (our anniversary is actually in September) and probably my last trip ever. I was dying.

After almost 18 years of battling multiple life threatening health issues, my body was shutting down. I weighed 112 pounds, could not eat and could barely speak. I was living off a feeding tube. I was a dead man walking. But Laura and I were not thinking about death. We were too busy living life and making memories. We were living with Hope. Still believing in a Crazy Beautiful Miracle. Several months later, I would experience that crazy beautiful miracle under a tent. I would not experience death as most of my medical team predicted. No, Jesus had other plans. Plans for me to live and share the story he gave me. To Thrive.

Today you might be facing a storm. Maybe even death. But I want to encourage you to live with Hope and Believe our wonderful Savior might just have a crazy beautiful miracle for you. So walk in your Miracle today. ~OC
