Today’s a new day! God has promised to look after us….to bring help. God, who defends us, who is far greater in strength than any issues or storms life throws at us. God, who spoke and whose words caused the universe to be. His words are true and unfailing. If He promises something, He will deliver. ~OC
Let’s Go
As I go from hospital to hospital people are hurting.
As I travel from one meeting to another people are hurting.
As I walk through the grocery store people are hurting.
As I travel to these different places, I am overwhelmed by how many people are eager to hear the word of God. The Living Water. It’s as if the Holy Spirit went before me to prepare their hearts.
My fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, the world is truly hurting. This hurting world needs to hear the message of Love, Grace, Forgiveness and Salvation.
You may get some of these hurting people to church to hear the beautiful message of Jesus, but as disciples of the Living King we need to take this amazing message to where they are and let the Holy Spirit do what He does best.
So my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, let’s hit the streets and speak to whoever He brings our way. The world is hurting. The Harvest is ready. Let’s go! ~OC
Resist
Today’s a new day! If you want to be content, you have to resist resentment. ~OC
Blessings
Today’s a new day! Since the enemy cannot keep God from blessing you, he will try to keep you from living out the blessing that God has freely given you. ~OC
Welcome Home
Jesus just put these words on my heart.
Sweet Jesus, you were willing to give up your life, so all that believe in you would spend eternity in Paradise. By giving your life, you unlocked the doors of Heaven to all believers. As Jesus prepares your loved one to walk into Paradise, you can hold on to the amazing truths of Jesus. One of those is that our loved one will hear those beautiful words “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” Then I believe Jesus will take the hand of our loved one and show them around Paradise. Then he will whisper in their ear, it’s good to have you home.
In your grief, may the above words bring you peace and comfort. I pray you embrace the truths of our Savior. Let Him wrap his loving arms around you like a warm blanket. ~OC
Finding Significance
Today’s a new day! Are you looking for significance in your career? Being rich? Being the smartest person in the room? Being famous? Being popular? If your significance is defined in comparing yourself with others, you’ll always be chasing after it. Only to come up empty.
But when Jesus declares you significant, your days of chasing it are over. You’re Significant. Accept it. Embrace it. Live in it. ~OC

Today’s a new day! Jesus gives us every breath that comes from our lungs. He gives us every beautiful heartbeat we take for granted. Jesus gives us every tasty meal we enjoy. He gives us every good thought and idea. Every ounce of love comes from Him. Every beautiful relationship in our lives comes from Jesus. Our Savior owes us nothing. Everything we have is because of His grace, love and undeserved blessings. -OC
How Bright Is Your Light?
Today’s a new day!! The brightness of our light is not determined by how loud we talk, how big our platform is or how famous we are. No, the brightness of our light is determined by how loud our behavior speaks. The consistency of the decisions we make. Our commitment to truly follow Jesus and serve others. The decision to do the right thing regardless of what the world thinks. How bright is your light? ~OC
