Hello. God put the following on my heart, so I decided to share it with you.
ONE WORLD. ONE CHURCH. ONE MISSION. UNITED IN PRAYER.
WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF CHRISTIANS AROUND THE WORLD STOPPED WHAT THEY WERE DOING EVERY NIGHT AT 7 PM AND WENT OUTSIDE TO PRAY?
Imagine it for a moment.
Christians stepping onto their front porches. Families gathering in their yards. Neighbors walking their streets. Believers standing outside their churches. People in cities and small towns across the globe, all taking a few moments to pray.
Different countries. Different time zones. Different languages. Different denominations.
ONE FAITH. ONE GOD. ONE ACT OF LOVE.
What if we started a simple challenge?
THE 7 PM GLOBAL PRAYER CHALLENGE
Here’s the challenge:
Every night at 7 PM, your local time, step outside and pray.
That’s it!
You decide how long you pray. Five minutes. Ten minutes. Thirty minutes. Whatever time you can give.
Walk your neighborhood and pray for your neighbors.
Pray for your family, your friends, and those who feel forgotten.
Pray for your local churches and their leaders.
Pray for healing, restoration, forgiveness, and unity.
Pray for those who are struggling with addiction, depression, loneliness, poverty, and hopelessness.
Pray for peace in our communities and around the world.
Pray for people who don’t know Jesus.
And most importantly, ask God to show you how you can become an answer to some of the prayers you’re praying.
DON’T JUST PRAY FOR YOUR LITTLE CORNER OF THE WORLD. ASK GOD HOW YOU CAN HELP CHANGE IT.
Now, imagine this challenge spreading.
Imagine a Christian in Florida praying at 7 PM, followed by believers in other parts of the United States. As the evening moves across the time zones, Christians around the world begin stepping outside to pray.
Imagine this happening night after night, in neighborhoods and cities across the globe.
What if this simple act of faith became a daily reminder that we are called to love our neighbors, serve our communities, and reflect the heart of Jesus wherever God has planted us?
What if God used those moments of prayer to soften hearts, restore relationships, bring families together, encourage struggling pastors, and inspire believers to serve the people living right next door?
We cannot predict what God will do. But we know that prayer matters, and Scripture encourages us to pray continually.
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16
Listen, this isn’t about creating another Christian movement, building a platform, or getting attention.
It’s about something much bigger than us.
IT’S ABOUT JESUS. IT’S ABOUT PRAYER. IT’S ABOUT LOVING PEOPLE.
You don’t need a microphone, a stage, a church building, or thousands of followers to make a difference.
You just need a willing heart and a few minutes to spend with God.
And remember, prayer isn’t just about asking God to change the world around us. It’s also about allowing Him to change the person looking back at us in the mirror.
So here’s my challenge to Christians everywhere:
PRAY ABOUT IT. ASK GOD TO LEAD YOU. AND IF HE PUTS IT ON YOUR HEART, JOIN THE 7 PM GLOBAL PRAYER CHALLENGE.
Start in your own home. Step into your yard. Walk your neighborhood. Pray wherever you can do so safely.
Then invite your family, friends, church, and neighbors to join you.
No pressure. No competition. No judgment. Just people who love Jesus choosing to spend a few minutes each evening praying for the places and people God has put in their lives.
Imagine the possibilities if Christians everywhere made prayer a daily priority!
We may never know the full impact of every prayer we pray. We may never see every seed planted or every heart touched.
But we can be faithful with the little piece of the world God has entrusted to us.
ONE PERSON. ONE PRAYER. ONE NEIGHBORHOOD AT A TIME.
EVERY NIGHT AT 7 PM. YOUR TIME ZONE. YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD. YOUR COMMUNITY. YOUR WORLD.
Will you prayerfully consider joining the challenge?
And if you do, invite someone else to join you.
Let’s see what God can do when His people humble themselves, seek His face, and commit themselves to praying for the world around them.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven…” — 2 Chronicles 7:14
LET’S TAKE IT TO THE STREETS. NOT TO ARGUE. BUT TO PRAY.
Because sometimes, changing the world begins with stepping outside your front door.
