Right In Front Of You

YOU CANNOT FIX EVERY PROBLEM IN THE WORLD, BUT YOU CAN FIX WHAT’S IN FRONT OF YOU.

It’s easy to become overwhelmed by everything that’s wrong with the world. The suffering, the division, the injustice, the loneliness. Sometimes the problems seem so big that we convince ourselves there’s nothing we can do.

But what if we started smaller?

What if we focused on the person who needs encouragement, the neighbor who needs help, the friend who’s struggling, or the injustice we have the opportunity to confront?

You may not be able to change the entire world, but you can change someone’s world.

And sometimes, that’s exactly where God wants you to start.

Stop waiting for the opportunity to do something extraordinary. Start doing the ordinary things that make an extraordinary difference in someone’s life.

You don’t have to fix everything.

Just don’t ignore what you have the opportunity to fix today. ~OC
