The world will try to define you by your past, your mistakes, your failures, your circumstances, and even your struggles. But when your identity is rooted in Jesus Christ, none of those things gets the final word.
Your circumstances may change. Your health may change. Your relationships may change. Your life may take unexpected turns. But your identity in Christ remains the same.
You are loved. You are chosen. You are forgiven. You are redeemed. You are a child of the living God!
Stop allowing the world to tell you who you are when God has already declared whose you are.
You are not defined by what you have been through. You are defined by whose you are!
Walk in that truth. Live in that freedom. And never forget: No matter what changes in your life, you will always be a child of God.
Keep believing. Keep overcoming. Keep your eyes on Jesus! ~OC
